The Pocket Toolkit for Traumatic Times. 4”x6”. The kit includes a ten-page screen-printed accordion book packaged with eight tactile collage pieces, dried lavender buds, and a pre-packaged herbal teabag. Pages are illustrated with line drawings of individuals engaging their senses and text outlines the 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding Technique - a therapeutic tool used to reconnect to the body.

This piece was developed for installation in Tangled Arts + Disability Gallery’s Small New Universe Gallery, “reflecting on themes of access, utopia, community, and interdependence.
